Anne Tromsness is a theatre arts educator, administrator and artist, currently teacfhing at the Greenville County School District’s Fine Arts Center and serving as Artist in Residence at the ARMES Program.  She was appointed in July 2015 to the South Carolina Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She was Director of Education at the Warehouse Theatre in Greenville from 2011-2015, developing outreach programming for the community.  In previous years, she has been an instructor at Christ Church Episcopal School and the Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville.  In addition to her work with the South Carolina Children’s Theatre and the Distracted Globe Theatre Company (of which she is a co-founder), she has been active on the Metropolitan Arts Council in Greenville and the South Carolina Theatre Association. A graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Women’s Studies program, she has an MA in Arts Administration from Winthrop University.
