Pamela Askew

Robin is a hospitalist and educator at Spartanburg Regional Hospital in Spartanburg, SC.  Her areas of special interest are acedemic hospital medicine and internal health.  Dr. Garrell is the recipient of outstanding teacher awards and is a memeber of the International Society of Travel Medicine, among other organizations.  She received a B. A. in Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina, after which she served her internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

A navite of Spartanburg, where she lives with her daughter, Robin is a preceptor with a mental health family support group and a volunteer at St. Luke's Free Clinic.
