Rather than increasing educational opportunities for students, school vouchers often end up providing false hope for families while also further limiting the ability for already cash-strapped public schools to provide needed classroom resources.

This bill would allow for public funds to support private educational institutions that are able to refuse enrollment to (and therefore discriminate against) students based on gender, religion, or academic aptitude. This violates the Establishment Clause of the US Constitution.
