Say No to the Bathroom Police
South Carolina lawmakers want to block transgender students’ access to bathrooms, locker rooms, and other facilities in our schools and universities. The only way to enforce such a rule is by establishing “bathroom police,” either in the form of school employees or private citizens filing lawsuits accusing students of using the wrong facilities.
Keep ICE Out of Our Communities
H. 4764 would force local police to do ICE’s dirty work by signing a collaboration agreement on immigration enforcement. Tell lawmakers to vote no.
Defend Religious Freedom in Schools
Some South Carolina politicians want to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in every public school classroom. This is indoctrination, and it has no place in a country with freedom of religion.
No ICE Detention Camp in SC
Anti-immigrant politicians want to build a version of Florida's disastrous Alligator Alcatraz facility here in South Carolina. Sign the petition to tell them South Carolinians want no part in the violation of constitutional and human rights.
Stop the Total Abortion Ban
South Carolina lawmakers are considering one of the most dangerous abortion bans in the country. Senate Bill 323 would eliminate exceptions for rape, incest, and fatal fetal anomalies; equate abortion with homicide; ban abortion medication; criminalize doctors who provide care; and make it a felony to share abortion information online or by phone.
Defend Diversity Equity & Inclusion
H. 3927 would prohibit DEI programs in nearly all public institutions as well as many private businesses.
