First, abortion is legal in South Carolina – just as it is in all 50 states – and we will continue fighting to keep it that way.

Second, we know there are a lot of questions about what the leaked draft SCOTUS decision means and how we will continue our fight in the weeks and months ahead.

Attacks on reproductive freedom target people and families who are already some of our most vulnerable South Carolinians. If the Supreme Court issues a majority opinion that follows the leaked draft, it would deprive half the nation of a fundamental constitutional right.

We know that South Carolinians are already facing challenges to reproductive freedom that disproportionately push care out of reach for people of color, immigrants, people who live in rural areas, and people with low incomes.

That's why, right now, we are asking you to support our great partners, including Planned Parenthood South Atlantic, which has continued to support reproductive rights for thousands of South Carolinians.

Please know that abortion is our right – and we won't stop fighting to protect it.

Your voice matters. Learn more about your protesting and demonstrating rights in South Carolina on our website.
