CHARLESTON, SC – The ACLU of South Carolina is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is holding an event at Republic Garden & Lounge to commemorate the occasion. ACLU’s National Political Director Faiz Shakir will deliver the keynote address, with several prominent leaders of civil rights and civil liberties in attendance, including founding members.
Mr. Shakir will be available for questions from the press.
