Have you heard about the total abortion ban? South Carolina Senate Bill 323 would ban abortion with almost no exceptions.

This bill is unconstitutional and deadly. It would make abortion a felony equivalent to homicide, make it illegal to possess abortion medications, and even criminalize providing information about abortion. We still have a chance to stop it before it becomes law.

The Senate Medical Affairs Subcommittee will consider amendments to S. 323 on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. There won't be an opportunity for public comments at this meeting, but you can still make your voice heard.

Contact your state lawmakers. Let them know why you oppose S. 323. We have a simple form to help you get started at aclusc.org/323:

Episode 4: Life After Dobbs

Our guests are three people living with the consequences of South Carolina’s extreme anti-abortion law. They are Dr. Jessica Tarleton, an OB/GYN from South Carolina; and Emma and Zach Giglio, a married couple from Summerville who were forced to seek an abortion out of state.
